Scotland (Five nights). Including Hotel accommodation and breakfast. If you’re keen to explore the Scottish Highlands, historic castles and discover the wonders of the Isle of Skye, then my 5 night Photographic Tuition Holiday in Scotland is for you. We will discover the 'Highland capital’, the compact city of Inverness, which is a perfect base for exploration by foot. Situated close to the River Ness, we will be in a great position to explore the Highlands. The Isle of Skye is truly enchanting, release your inner adventurer and discover its mountain ranges, miles of dramatic coastline and captivating history. It has some of the most magnificent scenery and geological features, such as the Old Man of Storr. Be sure to bring your walking boots and explore these unique sights on foot for the real rewards. One of the main attractions which entices visitors from all over the world are the Fairy Pools in Glen Brittle, here you will be able to take some fantastic photos. Old Man of Storr is another captivating part of the Isle of Skye. We will discover this by following the path of one of the most famous walks in Scotland. The ‘Old Man’ is a large pinnacle of rock that stands high and can be seen for miles around. The Storr was created by a massive ancient landslide, leaving one of the most photographed landscapes in the world. Close by, we will discover one of the most iconic images of the Scottish Highlands, the Eilean Donan Castle. Situated on an island at the point where three great Sea Lochs meet, set out into the sea and surrounded by some mind-blowing scenery. It also featured in the late 1980's film 'The Highlander'. Heading south towards Cairngorms National Park, we will visit Carrbridge Old Packhorse Bridge, an ancient bridge across the River Dulnain built in 1717. The bridge was built to allow funeral processions to access Duthil Church, the bridge was known locally as ‘The Coffin Bridge’. There is a viewing area at street level above the bridge and steps down the bank of the river to a lower viewing platform at almost water level.
